5 awesome fitness things.....

Of course I love my own services. But I'm also not a tunnel visioned trainer. There are some great products and services out there that can benefit and click with many people. Like I always say, if it's not working for you, find something that does work for you. Your relationship with exercise shouldn't always feel stressed.

There's time and place for gadgets, apps, and stuff that makes you feel motivated, and progresses you forwards.

  1. Virtual Challenges with Conqueror App!

If you're searching for a way to make walking, running or cycling more enjoyable, seeking extra motivation, or desiring a truly amazing reward for your efforts, conqueror virtual challenges with medals are perfect for you. Their mobile app will keep you motivated throughout the challenge, and we will also ship you with a stunning medal to celebrate your achievement if you complete the challenge before your chosen deadline. Each challenges allow you to select a custom timeframe that aligns with your goals and schedule. These challenges don't have to be exercise driven. You can set these up for certain habits eg. doing 15 min of rehab is = to 10km of walking / 1 day of not vaping is = 15km of walking. Their medals are next level!!! Here is photo I snapped of a few of them in real life:

2. Down Dog Yoga App!

This app works an absolute treat for those that struggle with time management. By simply outlining the time frame you have eg. 6 minutes and what you want to focus on eg. meditation or strength, a workout is automated for you straight away to follow. This app really does help reduce any time barriers around your yoga practice. Yoga practice is greatly beneficial alongside every mode of training.

3. Couch to 5k App!

Couch to 5 k also known as C25K is an exercise plan that gradually progresses a beginner running toward a 5-kilometre run over nine weeks. The Couch to 5K running plan was created by Josh Clark in 1996. He developed the plan for new runners as motivation through manageable expectations. I have had a lot of clients come to me after completing this app on their own and then want to further their running journey.

4. The book Atomic Habits!

This book tells you that real change comes from countless small decisions, not just motivation. It focuses on 4 fundamental points: make it obvious, make it attractive, make it easy, and make it satisfying! If you are someone that struggles to stick with anything. Make this your number 1 thing to achieve in the next few weeks- read this book.

5. Follow James Smith on Instagram!

If there's anyone on socials that is keeping our industry honest, it's 95% this guy! He does not mind getting on people's bad sides, calling out crap, and showing you were the lie or issue lies in advertising and media. Some people may find his language disgusting, so watch with care.
